 InDesign Thoughts

This is my memory on the experiences in the class of Graphic Design 

I was one of the lucky many to be entered into the Designing with Type class and believe i must share my experiences with you and the type of work and knowledge i have gained during my time in the first year of the class. 

When i was first in this class it was show to me that this is not just about technology we had learned how to draw types in pencil and paper so we can learn about the aspects of a type and how it combine together to make it

I remember that we had to learn about many tings related to type such as contrast , interrelationship of form and repetition among many other important details which could make a type and or design 

Also as we had learn about typefaces we had learned about fonts and their history and the impact they had on history has it brought a new form of communications and spread of beliefs and ideas throughout the world

The teachers who had tought us all they could for this year of Graphic design were great they allow us to bring your own creativity to the tables of our projects without trying to hinder them all long as you follow the rule of your work which was based on us the students showing our understanding of the subject

Self-Portrait in Color You know how i  had taken a picture of my self which i had to turn into a grayscale,  using the curvature tool to make rough shapes which made my face using different shade or tint  on the grayscale, after which i had turn off the model the original picture to fix gaps in the shapes that make my portrait, but for the work above after all that i had one layer at a time recolored all the colors in a monochromatic pallet using purple even the background i had use a light purple, the background i tried to make the same color as the portrait to make a story of a bored purple man on a purple planet and sun

Image File formats

 Image File formats Raster files Raster files are Graphics that use pixel/bitmap for Photography.  The types are Psd, Png, Jpg, Heic, tif, Pdf, Raw, Bmp, and Gif.  All of which being editable by Photoshop and many similar programs such as procreate, Lightroom, Photopea.  The aforementioned programs and app are referred to as Raster editors Vector Files Vector Files types are Pdf, Ai, Cdr, Svg, Indd, Eps, and Fla.  Which can be edited on Illustrator and similar apps like, indesign, Animate, Photoshop, and Coreldraw.  These apps and programs are being known as Vector image editors Layouts  Layout are the way elements are sorted or organized on a file  Known type of files include Indd and Idml The apps which edit such files are Adobe indesign and Adobe Illustrator  Layouts My research is from Hadel's lesson yesterday on 3/4/2025 As-well as my personal knowledge on layouts
