Robot Final

Rickey My Robot

This is the robot i made for the create robot project to top one being the Draft and the bottom being the Final with shadows and a background which he fits in.

With the draft i had been late so did not know exactly what to do so i had to ask what was going on and quickly look at the lesson to find out what to do then shortly after i started to want to make a robot of gear but later swapped into car parts due to lack of high quality gears images which could make a robot, and so i started to make my robot by the wheels and slowly worked my up until i made it up to where the face is which i when started to add the "hair" of suspension and the arms made of multiple parts and tried not to think abut wether if it would be function only that it appeared to be functional, when i was making him the name Rickey appeared in my head for the majority so i named him Rickey.

And now the final when making the final i imported Rickey into a car scarp yard since i made him with the idea he would work in a scrap yard and decided since he is made of car parts he can work in a car scrap yard as if he was made their for that purpose, and for the shadow which makes him totally appear to be real i made a copy of rickey and merged the layer which make him then filled him in black and lowered the opacity and try to mesh or distort it in a way behind him to make it look like a believable shadow, then i tried to make Rickey more realistic by shading him and lighting him with the burn and dodge tool but by accident i did something which colored him blue which i could not undo so i had to start over with Rickey and his shadow which give us this Version of the final which i did not use the dodge or burn tool just as precaution to mess it up and start over again, due to the limited time i had.
