 InDesign Thoughts This is my memory on the experiences in the class of Graphic Design  I was one of the lucky many to be entered into the Designing with Type class and believe i must share my experiences with you and the type of work and knowledge i have gained during my time in the first year of the class.  When i was first in this class it was show to me that this is not just about technology we had learned how to draw types in pencil and paper so we can learn about the aspects of a type and how it combine together to make it I remember that we had to learn about many tings related to type such as contrast , interrelationship of form and repetition among many other important details which could make a type and or design  Also as we had learn about typefaces we had learned about fonts and their history and the impact they had on history has it brought a new form of communications and spread of beliefs and ideas throughout the world The teac...

Block Set Type Block set type also know as the type lock up which is commonly use by many businesses and Companies   What is a type lock up? A lock up is the Final design of a type or logo design which should not be repurposed as it the final version which would contain your  all  wanted elements and styles of the previous versions in one Do type lock ups usually use one font? While Type lock up do mostly have one Type and or Font it is still viable to use multiple types and fonts in the lock up to show your own creativity and design How could you use a type lock up? MY rough draft where I found the ,most unique words or concepts like pain, god, taxes,`` etc. and started drawing them tryin to use all given classifications This is my final Word which can be interpret as a few word but only I know what it is so good luck I made all the letters facing the large Q in the middle of the 6 by 6 square it wasn't to hard the only thing I struggled with is the Q as I mess it up but did not want to start over  

These are all of my rough sketches each with its own unique set of classifications among the shown rough sketches I had used my sixth and final which is at the bottom right This is my work which consists of the different classifications which is Rockwell for the q, Garamond for the o, and the N is Baskerville. I made the N like that since I thought it would be unique and because I thought doing the top would be hard  

The Eyes Black squares align in diagonal lines across the composition. Crossing them at right angles are single thin lines. The crossing lines and squares create a grid, all of which is diagonally rotated. Inside the grid is a lot of white space. Approximately 35% of the composition is positive space (dark). The remaining negative dominates the layout.
